New Rolex Learning Center will open next week in the Swiss Lausanne. The project of Japanese bureau SANAA.

The centre is in a campus of sciences and technologies of university EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), the educational centre will be accessible both to students, and for the public. The centre will function as training laboratory, library with 500,000 volumes and the international cultural centre.
Having extended on the area in 20,000 sq.m., the centre there is an extensive network of services, libraries, information, dialogue, training, with restaurants, a cafe and vacation spots on open air. The building is innovative on the structure and the form, and has demanded use of the newest technologies for its building.
